Investment Rocks (Miss Sierra) is our miracle baby.  Sierra is a stunning palomino filly who was born on April 2, 2023.  She was sired by The Berry Cool Rock (Mr. Rocket) out of Investment Rosita (Miss Rosie). She is double registered AQHA/PHBA and is 6-panel negative per AQHA.

When Investment Rosita (Rosie) was 6 months pregnant with Sierra in 2022, Rosie was diagnosed with a squamous cell carcinoma (a form of skin cancer from our really hot sun here) in her left eye on her cornea.  Thanks to the skills of Dr Norman of Eye Care For Animals and the specialist reproductive skills of Durango veterinarian hospital in monitoring Sierra, Rosie underwent surgery to remove the carcinoma down at Durango and they able to save not only Rosie's eye but also Sierra.  We are so grateful that Rosie now has 100% of her eyesight and Sierra suffered absolutely no ill-effects from the surgery either.
